Welcome to our worship today.
We welcome children in church at all times.
There is a safe children’s area at the side of the church which enables children to play/sit quietly with their parents or carers and join the service. ‘Busy Bags’ for young children are available.
During term-time, Sunday School takes place in the Parish Centre.
All children are welcome.
Toilets and Baby Changing facilities are located in the Parish Centre.

PARISH NEWS




TODAY

Father Stephen is at Winchester Cathedral today as James Sharpe is ordained Deacon so Rev Joe Smith will preside this morning. Thanks to Sally and Sharon for giving 26 years of service to the Brownies and Judith for 20 years of service to the Guides. The leaders and members of the Uniformed Organisations attached to us are very grateful for the years of commitment from these three leaders. Thanks also to Clair, and we wish Clair well as she takes on the role of leader for Rainbows, Brownies and Guides.
NEXT SUNDAY

Following our Parish Eucharist next Sunday (10th), we shall be interring Ted Chapman’s ashes. The deadline for the combined August/September magazine is next Sunday, please see Sam a.s.a.p.



ROY GREEN

Will be moving to live with his daughter, Katy in Ipswich. Roy would like to say ‘goodbye’ to his many friends. Please pop around for a cup of tea and a chat, preferably in the afternoons before 7th July. Please phone first—Tel: 387385.

PARKSTONE GARDENER’S SOCIETY

Will hold their Summer Flower Show and Plant Sale in the centre on Saturday 9th July form 2pm. Admission free.




ROUTES TO ROOTS

This is a Poole based charity who are in need of the following items to support homeless and vulnerable adults in Poole. Jeans, T-Shirts, Socks, Pants (male & female), Shoes (sizes 9 & 10), Roll on deodorant, Sunscreen (no alcohol), Toothpaste & Toothbrushes. A yellow collection box is at the back of church. Thank you for your help.


EVIE TURNER CONCERT

An evening of cabaret with Evie Turner in memory of Barbara ‘Grandma Jesse’ will take place on Saturday 6th August at 7.30pm in church. £5 per adult, children free. Tickets will be available soon, proceeds towards church and Mothers’ Union.
