WELCOME TO OUR WORSHIP TODAY
We welcome children in church at all times. There is a safe children’s area at the side of the church which enables children to play/sit quietly with their parents or carers and join the service. ‘Busy Bags’ for young children are available. During term-time, Sunday School takes place in the Parish Centre. All children are welcome. Toilets and Baby Changing facilities are located in the Parish Centre.

PARISH NEWS

WELCOME as we join together for the service this morning, please stay for tea and coffee after the service at the back of church.

HOLY COMMUNION On Wednesday 5th at 10.30am there will be a service of Holy Communion. (Mothers’ Union Corporate Communion)



PARISH OFFICE The Parish Office will open again on Wednesday 5th Sept.



TODDLERS RETURN The Toddler Group will meet again in the hall from Thursday 6th September between 2pm– 4pm. For more details give Rachel a call on 07557148826.



P & P SINGERS CONCERT “MUSICAL MOMENTS” will take place on Saturday 29th September at 7.30pm. Doors open 30 minutes before. Tickets are £5 available from the Parish Office or Barbara Rivett or you can pay on the door.



FRIENDS OF ST.ALDHELMS the Friends will hold their AGM on Saturday 15th September in church beginning with a service of Holy Communion at 10am followed by coffee and the AGM from 10.30am onwards.



CHURCH CHOIR PRACTICE Friday 7th will see the return of choir practice held in church from 6-7pm, please see Andy Hill for more info.



BEST WISHES to Vicky Young & Stuart Rowley who will be married here on Friday 14th September at 11.00am.



HOLY COMMUNION WITH PRAYERS FOR HEALING the next service will take pace on Tuesday 18th September at 12 noon.



DON’T FORGET . . . . OUR HARVEST SUPPER & BARN DANCE which will take place in church on Saturday 6th October from 5.30pm onwards, adults £5, children £1. Good fun for everyone!







HARVEST THANKSGIVING Our Harvest Service will take place on Sunday 7th October at 10.00am. Please bring tins, biscuits, cereals, pasta, tinned puddings etc all with a long life which can then be distributed between our housebound friends and to several local charities helping local people in need. Thank you in advance for your donations.

COFFEE MORNING On a Tuesday morning from 10.30am in church, there is a coffee morning to which you are all welcome.

PARKSTONE GARDENERS Will hold their meeting on Tuesday 21st August at 7.30pm in the hall, the talk will be about ‘Daffodils’.

ST. ALDHELM’S CHURCH CHOIR If you enjoy singing and would like to do more, why not join our choir. The choir meet on a Friday evening from 6-7pm in church and then sing during our service on a Sunday morning. They will be back rehearsing in September so why not speak to Andy Hill our Director of Music who will give you more information.
