All Souls Service
Later today at 6pm there will be a service to remember departed loved ones and friends.
Church Flowers
We would be grateful for any contributions, great or small, for the church flowers. This would be much appreciated as Remembrance Sunday is not far off and our funds need a boost. Many thanks, please see Dee Anderson or Faye Pay.






Church Heating
Our heating cost will rise from 1.3 pence per kilowatt hour to 2.6 pence, increasing our bill by about £3,500. Therefore we need an economy drive. Please wear layers of clothing as we gather here to worship.

Parish Magazine
The parish magazine for November is now available at the back of church. Thank you to the ladies of the stapling team for your help.







Bonfire Night & Fireworks
On Friday 6th November from 5.30pm approx, we shall light our bonfire and then light the fireworks from 6pm. This takes place in the Vicarage Garden. Hot food and drinks will be available, entrance is £5 per family.









Bonfire Wood
If you have any wood to donate for the bonfire which you can bring to the Vicarage garden, please speak to Dave Marsh or Sam Waldron. Thank you. (No donations before 2nd November).

Anthony Nolan Trust
Sunday School have raised £1,119.23 towards the trust with cakes sales and the Dragon Boat Races. The next cake stall will take place on Sunday 8th November at the back of church.






Remembrance Sunday
Our Rememberance Service takes place here on 8th November at 10am.







Poppy Appeal
Poppies are available now at the back of church.

Holly Fayre
Our Holly Fayre will take place on Saturday 21st November, please could we have donations for books, toys, raffle prizes, thank you.

The shortfall is made up from fund raising.If you pay Income Tax, in each chair can be found a yellow giving envelope. Loose collection can be placed in these envelopes, completing the details requested (this will enable us to reclaim 28p in the £ from the Inland Revenue). If you are a non-tax payer, please put your loose collection straight into the collecting bag when this is passed round during the service.Through our Planned Giving Scheme, church members commit a regular amount of money in order that we may be able to rely ona predictable income to meet our needs and responsibilities. Whilst we are grateful to those who contribute through the loose collections/Gift Aid envelopes, we need new members to join the Planned Giving scheme.For further information please contact our Hon. Thanksgiving Service / All Saints Day
Next Sunday at 10am will be an All Age Service of Thanksgiving.

All Souls Service

Next Sunday at 4pm we shall hold our Pet Blessing Service, where we thank God for our animals. Please bring your pet along to join you at this service.

Please come along next Saturday at 9.30am when we will join together to sweep up leaves and have a general tidy up of the grounds of church.

Mothers’ Union Meeting
The M.U. will be meeting in the lounge on Wednesday 21st October and will be joined by Ann Ballett who will be making Christmas Cards and Decorations. Open to everyone to go along.


Whist
The Whist Group warmly welcome new players, they will be meeting in the lounge on Thursday 15th Oct at 2pm.









Toddler Group
The Toddler Group meet every Thursday during term-time in the parish centre from 2pm –4pm. The group is suitable for all children from 0-5 years. £1 per family and this includes a drink and biscuit. Why not come along and join the fun!
