PARISH NEWS

TODAY

Welcome to our Harvest Thanksgiving Service this morning. Food donations from this service together with donations from St. Aldhelm’s School and Busy Bodies Pre-School will be given to help the Poole Food Bank who are working at full stretch to help the high number of families at this time of recession. Donations will also be given to members of our congregation who are housebound or poorly.

TODAY

Heidi Moxam will be on hand after the service to lead as many folk as possible into ‘fingerpainting’ a Poppy. The idea is to use thumbprints to make red and black marks, which will then create a wall display of individual poppies that will commemorate the men and women who died in the Great War, WW2 and the many conflicts since 1945. Come and make your mark during coffee time this morning and contribute to our Remembrance display.

PANTO It’s that time of year again! Any child or adult who would like to participate in our next production is invited to attend the first rehearsal which will take place on this afternoon at 2pm here in church.

PARISH MAGAZINE

The October issue of our Parish Magazine is now available at the back of church, details for all our forthcoming events, shows and services are included. Thanks to the stapling/folding team.
