There is a safe children’s area at the side of the church which enables children to play/sit quietly with their parents or carers and join the service. ‘Busy Bags’ for young children are available. During term-time, Sunday School takes place in the Parish Centre. All children are welcome. Toilets and Baby Changing facilities are located in the Parish Centre.

FUN QUIZ NIGHT This Wednesday, 18th April from 7pm in the centre, there will be a fun Quiz Night. We hope to raise funds for the Mothers’ Union ‘Away From It All Holiday Fund’ and Church Repairs. Tickets are £5 per adult and £1 per child and this includes a ploughman’s supper. Thanks to Gary Waldron and Richard Dray for hosting and setting the questions. Raffle prizes greatly received—please see Faye Pay or Sam.




FLOWER FUND Please spare any change to go into the collection pot at the back of church to support the Flower Fund. Money will be used to continue to provide flowers to decorate church.




QUIET TOYS/RELIGIOUS STORY BOOKS The crèche area to the side of church is in need of new quiet toys or books to keep our younger visitors occupied. If you can donate such items please see Heidi Moxam. Thank you.



PARKSTONE GARDENERS’ MEETING On Tuesday 17th April, the gardeners’ will meet in the centre—doors open 7pm for 7.30pm start - Tatton—winning gold by Chris Evans.



CLEAN ME MORNING Please come along to church on Saturday 21st April at 9.30am to join the ‘Clean Me Morning’. We hope to clean and polish the church and parish centre. Refreshments will be provided. It would help if you could bring dusters and polish.

CHURCH CHOIR If you enjoy singing and church music, why not think about joining our church choir. They meet every Friday evening between 6pm and 7pm in church. For more details please speak to a member of the choir or to our Director of Music - Andy Hill (organist).


PARISH PICNIC On Saturday 21st July we are planning a coach trip and Parish Picnic to Hillfield Priory. More details to follow soon.


PARISH COUNT The count will begin next week, please help by filling out an attendance form once a week when you come to a church service. The count is to be taken over 5 weeks, thank you in advance for your help. The count goes towards how much we pay as part of our ‘share’.

A.P.C.M. The Annual Parochial Church Meeting will take place today following the Baptism Service. The meeting will be held in church. Parish reports are available at the back of church.







PLEASE PRAY FOR the Easter-themed workshops led by Father Stephen on Monday with the whole of St. Aldhelm’s Combined School plus classes from London’s Three Bridges School who are visiting for the day; the presence of pupils of the Muslim and Sikh faith will make these workshops an experience of multi-faith interaction - Father Stephen will be focusing on the Christian understanding of Resurrection.







ST. ALDHELM’S ORCHESTRA CONCERT On Monday 26th March at 7.30pm the orchestra will perform in church. All welcome. Retiring Collection. Please see noticeboard for concert details.

MOTHERS UNION MESSAGES
LADY DAY 2012 Deanery Lady Day will be on Friday 23rd March at the Church of the Transfiguration, Canford Cliffs. A service at 10.30am followed by a packed lunch. Banners will be paraded and each Branch is asked to have a member who will say a short intercession prayer, which should be accompanied by a symbol. Each member is asked to bring something which represents one of their gifts. Please see Diane Eaton for further details.
