PARISH MAGANE

Our Parish Magazine for April, which covers all the services and details for Easter is now available at the back of church. Many thanks to the ladies for stapling and folding again this month.

PARISH REPORT

The Parish Report is now available at the back of church; the APCM will take place following the Palm Sunday Service. Thank you to Jan and John Kilminster for producing this.



LENT

During Lent we are following some of Simone Weil’s reflections on the Lord’s Prayer, meeting here and at St. Joseph’s. This evenings meeting will be at St. Joseph’s beginning at 6.30pm and ending at around 7.45pm. Do join us.



GOOD FRIDAY WORKSHOP

Please meet with Frances after today’s service if you are able to help at this years children’s workshop on Good Friday.


ST. ALDHELM’S ORCHESTRA

The orchestra will play pieces from Weber, Schubert and Borodin on Monday 4th April—7.30pm in church, all welcome—retiring collection.


TRADITIONAL MID LENT TEA + FUN QUIZ

Will be held in the centre on Saturday 9th April between 2.30pm –5pm. Tickets £3.50 adults and children £2. Available from John Kilminster—tel: 257541 or Richard Gibbs, Pam Christy, Roy Barker, Joyce Lavender or Clair Pay. All welcome. Subscriptions to Friends are now due. Please see Elaine.


ROYAL WEDDING

To celebrate the Royal Wedding on Friday 29th April from 1pm, we shall be getting together for a ‘street party’ in the Vicarage Garden. Bring and share lunch.
