REV. SARAH BRYANT
This morning we celebrate Sarah’s curacy with us as she prepares to move to her next posting as a school Chaplain. Following the service you are invited to a ‘bring and share’ lunch in the parish centre. We wish Sarah all the very best and our prayers and good wishes are with her.
Many thanks to everyone who helped at yesterdays Spring Fayre either by being there on the morning or donating something towards it.
LENT
During Lent we are following some of Simone Weil’s reflections on the Lord’s Prayer, meeting here and at St. Joseph’s. This evenings meeting will be at St. Joseph’s beginning at 6.30pm and ending at around 7.45pm. Do join us. (Details on a purple A4 sheet at the back of church).
NEXT SUNDAY
During our 10am service next Sunday, 27th March we shall mark the 70th Anniversary of the bombing of the Bourne Valley Gasworks and remember those who lost their lives during that tragic time.
ZENITH THEATRE CO
Zenith Theatre Company who meet every week in our parish centre are celebrating their 20th year. On Friday 25th and Saturday 26th March they will perform “Let’s Celebrate!” Tickets are available from (01202) 723588, adults £6, concessions £5. Performances—Friday at 7.45pm and Saturday at 2.30pm and 7.45pm.
EMULSION PAINT LEFTOVERS
If anybody has any tins of half empty emulsion paint to give to Frances at the Vicarage, it would be much appreciated. Bright colours are particularly useful – as is white. Please leave in the Vicarage porch or back of church. Thank you.
