PARISH NEWS

This morning

Welcome to the friends and family of little Archie Delve who will be baptized during this service.

Church Flowers

We would be grateful for any contributions, great or small, for the church flowers. This would be much appreciated as Remembrance Sunday is not far off and our funds need a boost. Many thanks, please see Dee Anderson or Faye Pay.

Church Heating

Our heating cost will rise from 1.3 pence per kilowatt hour to 2.6 pence, increasing our bill by about £3,500. Therefore we need an economy drive. Please wear layers of clothing as we gather here to worship.

Parish Magazine

The parish magazine for November is now available at the back of church. Thank you to the ladies of the stapling team for your help.

Thanksgiving Service / All Saints Day
Next Sunday at 10am will be an All Age Service of Thanksgiving.

All Souls Service
Next Sunday at 6pm there will be a service to remember departed loved ones and friends-at 6pm. There is also a book at the back of the church to write the names of people to be remembered at this service.

Bonfire Night & Fireworks
On Friday 6th November from 5.30pm approx, we shall light our bonfire and then light the fireworks from 6pm. This takes place in the Vicarage Garden. Hot food and drinks will be available, entrance is £5 per family.

Bonfire Wood
If you have any wood to donate for the bonfire which you can bring to the Vicarage garden, please speak to Dave Marsh or Sam Waldron. Thank you. (No donations before 2nd November).

Remembrance Sunday
Our Rememberance Service takes place here on 8th November at 10am.
