WELCOME TO OUR WORSHIP TODAY

We welcome children in church at all times. There is a safe children’s area at the side of the church which enables children to play/sit quietly with their parents or carers and join the service. ‘Busy Bags’ for young children are available. During term-time, Sunday School takes place in the Parish Centre. All children are welcome. Toilets and Baby Changing facilities are located in the Parish Centre.

PARISH NEWS

A.P.C.M. The Annual Parochial Church Meeting will take place next Sunday following the Baptism Service. The meeting will be held in church. Parish reports are available at the back of church.






PARISH MAGAZINE Deadline for the April edition is today, please see Sam with your contributions.




THANK YOU to everyone for supporting, helping and coming along to our Spring Fayre yesterday.





MEMORIAL SERVICE Next Wednesday, 21st March at 2.00pm there will be a Memorial/Thanksgiving Service for Roy Green held here in church with refreshments to follow in the Scout Den.




CLOTHING HELP Have you any of the following which you could donate towards the charity Routes to Roots, (clean): jeans, jogging bottoms, t-shirts, fleeces, socks, jumpers, sweatshirts (male and female). With the cold weather at present more and more homeless people are turning to Routes to Roots for help. Donations can be left at the back of church, in bags please. Thank you in advance for your help.






FLOWER FUND Please spare any change to go into the collection pot at the back of church to support the Flower Fund. Money will be used to continue to provide flowers to decorate church.






LENT LUNCH Following the 10.30am Mass on Wednesday 4th April there will be a simple lunch of soup and bread served in the lounge in the parish centre. This lunch is open to all. Please come along.





QUIET TOYS/RELIGIOUS STORY BOOKS The crèche area to the side of church is in need of new quiet toys or books to keep our younger visitors occupied. If you can donate such items please see Heidi Moxam. Thank you.





ST. ALDHELM’S ORCHESTRA CONCERT On Monday 26th March at 7.30pm the orchestra will perform in church. All welcome. Retiring Collection. Please see noticeboard for concert details.





HAVE YOU GOT ANY STRONG COLOURED TINS OF EMULSION PAINT, OLD RIBBONS, STRIPS OF FABRIC, WOOL—ALL BRIGHT COLOURS ?


If you have, please can we have them for the Art session on Good Friday—open to all—12noon—3pm. We are working on the ‘Tree of Life’. Fabric donations can be put in the basket at the back of church, please leave paint tins on the Vicarage doorstep.






MOTHERS UNION MESSAGES
LADY DAY 2012 Deanery Lady Day will be on Friday 23rd March at the Church of the Transfiguration, Canford Cliffs. A service at 10.30am followed by a packed lunch. Banners will be paraded and each Branch is asked to have a member who will say a short intercession prayer, which should be accompanied by a symbol. Each member is asked to bring something which represents one of their gifts. Please see Diane Eaton for further details.
