WELCOME TO OUR WORSHIP TODAY
We welcome children in church at all times. There is a safe children’s area at the side of the church which enables children to play/sit quietly with their parents or carers and join the service. ‘Busy Bags’ for young children are available. During term-time, Sunday School takes place in the Parish Centre. All children are welcome. Toilets and Baby Changing facilities are located in the Parish Centre.

PARISH NEWS



WELCOME to everyone as we join together for the service this morning, please stay for tea and coffee afterwards at the back of church.




CHURCH ELECTORAL ROLL The closing date for the list is today, 11th March, please see Sam Waldron after the service.







GOOD FRIDAY MEETING - TODAY, after the main service, there will be a short meeting for anyone who can help with our Good Friday workshop (theme: ‘The Tree of Life’) which will run between 12noon and 3pm on 6th April; the workshop is for folk of all ages and anyone is welcome to attend.









PARISH MAGAZINE Deadline for the April edition will be next Sunday.






SPRING FAYRE NEXT WEEK On Saturday 17th March between 10.30am—12.30pm we shall hold our Spring Fayre in the Parish Centre.








WE ARE DESPERATELY SEEKING DONATIONS FOR THE SPRING FAYRE:
we are looking for donations for books, toys, raffle prizes, plants, bric-a-brac. Please bring to church or parish office this week. Thank you. Delicious Home-made cakes can be brought along on the morning-thank you!







MEMORIAL SERVICE On Wednesday 21st March at 2.00pm there will be a Memorial/Thanksgiving Service for Roy Green held here in church with refreshments to follow in the Scout Den (to help with catering numbers please let Father Stephen know if you are attending).





CLOTHING HELP Have you any of the following which you could donate towards the charity Routes to Roots, (clean): jeans, jogging bottoms, t-shirts, fleeces, socks, jumpers, sweatshirts (male and female). With the cold weather at present more and more homeless people are turning to Routes to Roots for help. Donations can be left at the back of church, in bags please. Thank you in advance for your help.







FLOWER FUND Please spare any change to go into the collection pot at the back of church to support the Flower Fund. Money will be used to continue to provide flowers to decorate church.







LENT LUNCH Following the 10.30am Mass on Wednesday 4th April there will be a simple lunch of soup and bread served in the lounge in the parish centre. This lunch is open to all. Please come along.







QUIET TOYS/RELIGIOUS STORY BOOKS The crèche area to the side of church is in need of new quiet toys or books to keep our younger visitors occupied. If you can donate such items please see Heidi Moxam. Thank you.
