WELCOME TO OUR WORSHIP TODAY

We welcome children in church at all times. There is a safe children’s area at the side of the church which enables children to play/sit quietly with their parents or carers and join the service. ‘Busy Bags’ for young children are available. During term-time, Sunday School takes place in the Parish Centre. All children are welcome. Toilets and Baby Changing facilities are located in the Parish Centre.

PANTO REHEARSALS TODAY - Panto rehearsals will return to the hall at 2pm this afternoon.








PARISH MAGAZINE - Thanks to the stapling team our next Parish Magazine which covers December and January is now available at the back of church. (includes Christmas Tree Festival, concerts and Christmas Services and forthcoming Alpha Course).








CHRISTMAS TREES The list for Christmas Trees to decorate has now closed BUT if you are quick we have two outside trees left! Please see Ann Ballett if you can help decorate them.








ST. ALDHELM’S SCHOOL - will be holding their Christmas Fair on Friday 2nd December from 3.30pm in the school at Winston Ave, Branksome.









FRIENDS OF ST. ALDHELM’S - The Friends will be meeting for a Christmas Coffee Morning on Saturday 3rd December, come along for a chat and a mince pie. There will be various stalls. 10.30am—12noon in the centre.







SHINING BRANCHES CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL VOLUNTEERS - to enable the 9th Christmas Tree Festival to run smoothly we are in need of volunteers to ‘man’ the church. This means welcoming visitors, having a chat, making teas and coffees and directing visitors to the facilities. We have a list of timed slots for the duration of the festival and hope that everyone could put their name down to help. The list is at the back of church. Lets give the community of Branksome a good St. Aldhelm’s Christmas welcome!








ST. EDWARD’S SCHOOL - On Monday 12th December between 2-4pm there will be a Senior Citizens Party, please contact (01202) 740950 for further details.








9th SHINING BRANCHES CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL BEGINS ON
SATURDAY 10TH DECEMBER
- with a Blessing & Opening Ceremony and the switching on of the lights attended by the Mayor of Poole—6.00pm, Then a refreshment break at 7.00pm and then ...






BIG LITTLE THEATRE SCHOOL - will put on a concert at 7.30pm - songs from the shows with a Christmas theme—£5 pay on the door
