WELCOME TO OUR WORSHIP TODAY

We welcome children in church at all times. There is a safe children’s area at the side of the church which enables children to play/sit quietly with their parents or carers and join the service. ‘Busy Bags’ for young children are available. During term-time, Sunday School takes place in the Parish Centre. All children are welcome. Toilets and Baby Changing facilities are located in the Parish Centre.

PARISH NEWS

TODAY - Welcome to our Remembrance Service this morning. Thanks to the bugler; Dick Baczala for joining us again this year and also thanks to Heidi for organising the Remembrance display in the children’s area.





MAGAZINE DEADLINE

If you have a contribution for the combined December and January parish magazine, could you please see Sam Waldron this morning.


NEXT SUNDAY

Next Sunday will be a baptism Sunday where we shall welcome new Christians and their families to our church.

ALPHA COURSE

In preparation for the Alpha Course which will run here during January and February next year, we are holding a meeting in church on Tuesday 15th November at 7.00pm to organize the logistics. As part of the course a meal is provided, so if you have catering skills please come along to the meeting or speak to Father Stephen.



MOTHERS’ UNION MEETING
On Wednesday, 16th November at 2.30pm the M.U. will hold their monthly meeting in the lounge and will be joined by Father Stephen with a talk about “What’s in a prayer”.





HOLY COMMUNION

There will not be a service on Thursday 17th Nov at Melton Court.


SCHOOL GOVERNOR

There is still a vacancy for a Foundation Governor at St. Aldhelm’s School, if you are interested and would like to know more, please contact Diane Eaton for more details.






VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT TODDLERS

We are very grateful to Heidi Moxam and to Vicky Westerby for leading our Thursday afternoon Toddler Group. Due to work and family commitments both Heidi and Vicky are having to step down as leaders, so we are now appealing for volunteers to take on this position(s), please see Heidi or Father Stephen.
