WELCOME TO OUR WORSHIP TODAY
We welcome children in church at all times. There is a safe children’s area at the side of the church which enables children to play/sit quietly with their parents or carers and join the service. ‘Busy Bags’ for young children are available. During term-time, Sunday School takes place in the Parish Centre. All children are welcome. Toilets and Baby Changing facilities are located in the Parish Centre.

ALL SOULS

Please remember that on Sunday 6th November at 6pm we have our annual commemoration of the departed. If you wish to have the names of your deceased love ones called to mind at this service, please write their names in the special commemoration book in church.







ST. EDWARD’S SCHOOL

On Tuesday 8th November at 7pm there will be a Sixth Form Information evening, for more information please phone Maggie McGrory on 740950 ext 70.





ADMISSION TO ST. EDWARD’S RC CE VA SCHOOL

Any parent of a child due to transfer at age 12+ in Sept 2012 and who wishes to consider the option of comprehensive education to age 18 within a successful and oversubscribed mixed church school should take an information leaflet about St. Edward’s School from the back of church.





BONFIRE NIGHT

On Friday 4th November from 5.30pm we shall hold our Fireworks and Bonfire Night in the Vicarage Garden. £5 per family. Hot food and drinks will be available. Fireworks from about 6pm.





CLEAN ME MORNING

To get the church and the grounds looking tidy for the winter we shall be sweeping leaves, dusting chairs etc in and around the church on Saturday 5th November between 9.30am—12noon. Please come along and lend a hand.






REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY

We shall hold our Remembrance Sunday Service on Sunday 13th November at 10.00am. Poppies will be available in church soon.







SONGS OF PRAISE

C.T.E.P invite you to an Autumn Songs of Praise on Sunday 30th October at 6pm at All Saints Church, Branksome Park. All welcome.






PARISH MAGAZINE

Thanks to the stapling team, the November parish magazine will be available next Sunday (30th Oct). The next magazine will be a combined issue for December and January, if you have a contribution please let Sam have the details before or on Remembrance Sunday (13th Nov), thank you.





CAN YOU HELP S.T.A.K.S?

Can you spare a couple of hours every other Sunday night between 6pm-8pm? STAKS are looking for a new leader ideally male to join our team to enable us to continue providing a varied programme for youngsters aged 10+. Please see Clair Pay . Thank you.

All Souls Service—Please leave the names of your departed loved ones in the book of remembrance at the back of church, the names will be said at the All Souls Service on Sunday 6th Nov—6pm.
