Next Tuesday - St. Aldhelm’s Day
The 12 noon service will be a service of Distribution. At 7.30pm we shall be hosting one of the Archdeacon’s Visitation services. We shall be joined by many churchwarden’s from local churches as they are sworn into office. As in previous years each church puts on refreshments following this service. We wish to do the same, so are asking for volunteers to bake some cakes and for help serving. Please see Sam if you can help. Church will be open on Monday evening between 7.30pm—9.00pm if you can drop of cake donations; or at coffee morning on the Tuesday morning. Thank you. (We need to cater for about 100+ guests).
Thank You
Thank you to Richard, Vicky, Paul, Kevin and Sam for decorating the lounge.

DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN SUPPORT YOUR CHURCH, EVEN WHEN YOU’RE NOT HERE?
Our expenditure amounts to approximately £1,400 per week. This includes £850.11 per week which goes to the Diocese for our ‘Share’. Last weeks donations were as follows: Planned Giving £297.70 (including standing orders)
Collections £355.50. Our income tax claim produces the equivalent of an additional £170 approx. per week. The shortfall is made up from fund raising.
If you pay Income Tax, in each chair can be found a yellow giving envelope. Loose collection can be placed in these envelopes, completing the details requested (this will enable us to reclaim 28p in the £ from the Inland Revenue). If you are a non-tax payer, please put your loose collection straight into the collecting bag when this is passed round during the service.
Through our Planned Giving Scheme, church members commit a regular amount of money in order that we may be able to rely on
a predictable income to meet our needs and responsibilities. Whilst we are grateful to those who contribute through the loose collections/Gift Aid envelopes, we need new members to join the Planned Giving scheme.
For further information please contact our Hon. Treasurer, Mr John Sprackling on (01202) 751553 or by e-mail via sprackling@branksomepark.freeserve.co.uk who will be pleased to provide you with a box of Weekly or Monthly envelopes or a standing order form.
