WELCOME TO OUR WORSHIP TODAY
We welcome children in church at all times. There is a safe children’s area at the side of the church which enables children to play/sit quietly with their parents or carers and join the service. ‘Busy Bags’ for young children are available. During term-time, Sunday School takes place in the Parish Centre. All children are welcome. Toilets and Baby Changing facilities are located in the Parish Centre.

LIVING STONES APPEAL
Was launched on the 2nd December to celebrate the 120 years since the foundation stone was laid at our church. We are hoping to raise £240,000 for various repairs and improvements to the church and parish centre.
So, next Saturday—19th January we are holding:
‘RAISE THE ROOF AND HAVE SOME FUN’;
Shake away those January blues!
There will be entertainment by a singer and a ploughman’s supper.
It begins 7 for 7.30pm in the parish centre, we are suggesting £10 each as a entrance donation. (please let Ann Ballett know if you are coming).
PARISH PANTO: HUMPTY DUMPTY
Humpty Dumpty takes place in the parish centre on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th February at 2pm and Friday 15th February at 7pm and then Saturday 16th February at 2pm and 7pm.
Tickets are on sale at the back of church from Di Eaton or available from the church office/school office or the leaders of the uniformed units. Performed by members of our church family.
VOLUNTEER VACANCY—VOLUNTEER MANAGER—SCOUTS
Branksome, St. Aldhelm’s Scouts are looking for someone with energy and enthusiasm to manage and lead a team of adult volunteers to ensure young people have access to the best possible Scouting. ST. EDWARD’S SCHOOL
September 2013 marks 50 years since the foundation of the school and their 20th anniversary of being a joint church school. Celebrations are being planned with a formal event involving Bishop Christopher from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Plymouth and the Right Reverend Nicholas Holtam, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Salisbury. If you attended St. Edward’s school in the past, please contact Rebecca Harris by email on rharris@st-edwards.poole.sch.uk who will keep you updated about the celebrations.
