“HAPPY EASTER”
Some Good News . . .
Message from Father Stephen Batty: I’ve some news to share with you that has almost exactly coincided with my marking twenty years of ordained ministry in Salisbury Diocese. At the invitation of The Bishop of Salisbury, I’ve been asked to accept nomination as a member of Salisbury Cathedral’s College of Canons. At a formal ceremony during Cathedral evensong at 5.30pm on Friday 28th May, I will be presented by two members of the College of Canons and will be given a courtesy stall in the Cathedral.
S.T.A.K.S.St. Aldhelm’s Youth Club—S.T.A.K.S. will be meeting between 6pm—8pm later today. For more information please see Andrew Dray or Clair Pay.
Coffee Morning
The regular coffee morning held in church on a Tuesday between 10.30am—12 noon will continue during Easter.

Well Done!
Well done to everyone who joined the Toddler Group raising funds for Sport Relief, they raised £50.
Well done and thank you to everyone for raising a whopping £843.87 at our Spring Fayre.

On Tuesday 20th April at 12 noon there will be a service of Holy Communion with Prayers for Healing.
Mothers’ Union
On Wednesday 21st April at 2.30pm the M.U. will be meeting in the lounge and the guest speaker will be Jemma Pay talking about her African experience.

Our expenditure amounts to approximately £1,400 per week.
This includes £850.11 per week which goes to the Diocese for our ‘Share’
Last weeks donations were as follows: Planned Giving £308.00 (including standing orders) Collections £160.10. Our income tax claim produces the equivalent of an additional £170 approx. per week. The shortfall is made up from fund raising.
If you pay Income Tax, in each chair can be found a yellow giving envelope. Loose collection can be placed in these envelopes, completing the details requested (this will enable us to reclaim 28p in the £ from the Inland Revenue). If you are a non-tax payer, please put your loose collection straight into the collecting bag when this is passed round during the service.
Through our Planned Giving Scheme, church members commit a regular amount of money in order that we may be able to rely on a predictable income to meet our needs and responsibilities. Whilst we are grateful to those who contribute through the loose collections/Gift Aid envelopes, we need new members to join the Planned Giving scheme.
For further information please contact our Hon. Treasurer, Mr John Sprackling on (01202) 751553 or by e-mail via sprackling@branksomepark.freeserve.co.uk who will be please to provide you with a box of Weekly or Monthly envelopes or a standing order form.
