MOTHERS' UNION MEETING
The M.U will be meeting in the lounge on Wednesday 16th Sept with guest speaker Margaret Jones, Poole Deanery Rep 'Action and Outreach'. All welcome.
PARISH CENTRE CLEAN ME
On Saturday 26th September we shall be holding a Clean Me Morning for the Parish centre from 09.30am; please come along and help, many hands make light work !
SCHOOL ADMISSIONS FOR SEPTEMBER 2010At the back of the church on the school notice board, there are admission details for both St Aldhelm's Combined School and St Edwards School; including open day information.
CURATE SWAP
On Sunday 27th September it will be our great pleasure to welcome back Rev'd Janet Delaney who will be our president and preacher at our 10am Eucharist. Rev'd Sarah in return will be the resident and preacher at St. Bartholomew's church, Wooton Bassett, where Janet is curate.
WHIST GROUP
The Whist Group will be meeting in the lounge on Thursday 17th September from 2.00pm, all welcome to come along.
MARJORIE BANKS
With sadness we let you know that Marjorie passed away last Sunday morning; her funeral will take place here in church on Tuesday 22nd Sept at 2.00pm.
CONFIRMATION PREPARATION AND DISCIPLESHIP COURSE
On Thursday evenings from Sept 24th beginning with 'young people' at 6.15pm; followed by the Thursday evening Eucharist at 7.00pm; then the adult class from 7.30pm. All welcome to come along to refresh your understanding of our Christian fail and to support those going forward for Confirmation.
P.C.C MEETING
The next P.C.C meeting will be on Tuesday 29th September. 7.00pm Eucharist followed by the meeting starting at 7.30pm in church.
HARVEST THANKSGIVING
On Saturday 3rd October we shall hold our Harvest Supper and Barn Dance here in church. On Sunday 4th October at 10.00am we shall hold our 'Harvest Thanksgiving' service, all welcome.
