BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE from today you will be able to include the names of departed loved ones in a Book of Remembrance placed near the north porch door, the names listed here will be read during the service for All Souls at 6.00pm on Sunday 4th November.
PARISH PANTO—HUMPTY DUMPTY—CALLING ALL BUDDING ACTORS!
Calling all children from reception age and above to be in the ‘Humpty Dumpty’ parish panto which will be in February next year. Rehearsals will start on Sunday 11th November from 1pm—3pm. Why not bring your sandwiches and stay for lunch following the Remembrance Service? Are you interested? Call Vicky Westerby on 07818673725.
MAGAZINE STAPLING - Magazine stapling will take place On Thursday 25th October from 9.30am in the lounge. Extra helpers would be nice, can you spare an hour?
TODDLERS the Toddler Group will meet in the hall on Thursdays between 2pm– 4pm and every Thursday during the school term times. For more details give Rachel a call on 07557148826.
FIRST AIDERS As we compile a list of first aid trained and certificated church members, if you should have that particular expertise please make this known to either our Churchwardens or Father Stephen—this would be most helpful.
PARISH BONFIRE & FIREWORKS EVENING Our Bonfire Night will take place on Friday 9th November from 5.30pm. Lighting of the fire and fireworks from 6pm. Hot food and drinks will be available. £5 per family.
This will take place in the Vicarage Garden.
CHRISTMAS FAIR will take place on Saturday 17th November, donations please to the office from Tuesday 6th November. Thank you.
CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL Our 10th ‘Shining Branches’ Christmas Tree Festival will take place on Saturday 8th December at 6.00pm. We will need lots of volunteers to ‘man’ the church and welcome our many visitors during the festival. There will soon be a volunteer list with timed slots during the day and evenings; please try and fill a space.

WELCOME as we join together for our Harvest Thanksgiving service this morning, harvest food donations will be collected during the service and will be given to parishioners in need and to Poole Food Bank; after the service please stay for tea and coffee which is served at the back of church.
Our preacher at the Harvest Thanksgiving service is Mark Phillips, elder at Lower Parkstone’s United Reformed Church and co-ordinator of the Footprints scheme which helps in the rehabilitation of prisoners once they are released; the School’s donations have this year focused on toiletries for distribution to the Footprints scheme.
THANK YOU to everyone who came and helped and joined in our Harvest Supper and Barn Dance which took place here in church yesterday evening.
